That is pretty cool and I may check that out. I like the fact that I can utilize my domain name via google. My issue is if I wanted to check it on my phone (it doesn't browse full size web pages well).

Is there away to receive google email like this via an email client? I want to use my domain name but not always http.

Thanks!

Forgot to mention... I didn't see it mentioned but it's really helpful to use the sub-domain setups that Google suggests during the process of setting up your new account. Like mail.yourdomain.com, docs.yourdomain.com, etc. That was easier for me to remember personally.

Honestly, I don't know what I'd do without my Google account. Everything in my everyday life is tied into the cloud that is Google. My calendar, my documents, my email, my instant messages... they're all there.
Prior to having a Google Business Apps account, I was using my old host's email and it was clunky. I relied on Apple Mail but there was no fun to it for me. Just another email client and it served a purpose. Then my coworker showed me this and I was sold. We converted all of our office accounts and our entire office to the Google side and never looked back. No more Apple Mail, no more Netscape (yes, I have a coworker that uses it), no more standalone email clients. Brilliant.

great article! I just got done setting it up, and am amazed that I didn't do this sooner since it's so simple. I've been using gmail since it was in private beta and love the service. Now it's great that I can use it for my business too!

Ah, this is what we use at work. I didn't think just anyone could set it up, though. I'm going to have to try it, thanks!

Yes, it's true, I owe a lot of the good technology I enjoy to Pedro. it was the prospect of getting an iPhone that finally tipped me over the edge. Now I'll never got back to POP.

It took me how long to finally convince you to use Google Apps? I'm glad to see you really caught the big picture of it all. :)
